The head of the parliamentary health committee, MP Assem Araji, said on Twitter “the COVID-19 pandemic has shown that the entire health sector is in need of radical reform”.

MP Araji called for supporting governmental hospitals and for preventing politicians from appointing boards of directors, adding “the waste [of money] must stop.”
