Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, expressed his keenness on stability and brotherly relations with neighboring countries.

Mufti Derian affirmed his eagerness on stability, security, and national unity in Lebanon, and on brotherly relations with the Arab countries, especially with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and on good relations with the friendly countries of Lebanon.

During his meeting with the US Ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea at Dar Al-Fatwa, Derian stressed the need to “strengthen cooperation with the Arab countries for the interest of the Lebanese people and all institutions to revive Lebanon so that it remains bearing the message of peace, love and cooperation among peoples and nations.”
