The General Directorate of Civil Aviation announced new measures at Rafic Hariri International Airport, in order to contain Covid-19

It stated: “In compliance with decisions and recommendations related to containing the spread of Covid epidemic, it is strictly forbidden for those receiving arriving passengers to enter the arrival hall at Rafic Hariri International Airport-Beirut, as well as preventing departing passengers from bidding farewell inside the departure hall. Entry to the arrival and departure halls is restricted to passengers, official bodies and employees operating at the airport. This measure will be in effect starting Monday, 28-6-2021.
