Youssef Absi, the Greek-Melkite Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and the East, headed to Rome, accompanied by Father Rami Wakim, the President of the Patriarchal Court, to attend Pope Francis’ day of meditation and prayer for Lebanon, which will be held in the Vatican City on July 1st, and which will bring together the leaders of numerous Lebanese Christian organizations.
