The Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, and a delegation of Eastern Catholic and Orthodox patriarchs, arrived to Rome to participate tomorrow in the meeting of prayer and meditation for Lebanon called by His Holiness Pope Francis.

Patriarch Al-Rahi and the delegation were received at the airport by Lebanon’s Ambassador to the Vatican, Farid Elias Al-Khazen and the embassy staff, Armenia’s ambassador in Rome, the general head of the Lebanese Maronite Order in Abbot Nimatallah Al-Hashem and the representatives of the Maronite monasteries in Rome.
