On the 8th and 9th of May, 2021, Army Units deployed in the Bekaa and the North arrested 7 citizens and 5 Syrians, and seized 4 van and two pick-up vehicles, as well as 3 motorcycles, all loaded with about 3200 liters of gasoline, 1500 liters of diesel, 320 bags of flour, and a quantity of drugs intended for smuggling into Syrian territory.

The Army Command reported in a statement that the seizures have been referred and investigation began with detainees under the supervision of the Competent Judiciary.
