The Media Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers issued the following statement:

“One of the newspapers dealt with the visit of His Excellency President Dr. Hassan Diab to the sisterly State of Qatar, lightly, in an attempt to offend the content and results of the discussions that took place with Qatari officials, especially His Highness Prince Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, regarding helping Lebanon in these difficult circumstances it is going through.

It is important for the media office to confirm that what the newspaper mentioned is more ridiculous than to deserve an answer.
