General Michel Aoun, President of the Republic, hosted a delegation from the LAZARD International Consulting Company, which included Francois Khayat, Xavier Attieh, and Thomas Lambert, in Baabda Palace this morning. During the discussion, President Aoun emphasized the necessity to reassess the previous government’s economic recovery plan as a result of the shift in statistics that has occurred for more than a year till today, and to harmonize these figures so that Lebanon’s negotiating position is strong.

The team praised President Aoun for the Lebanese government’s trust in LAZARD, emphasizing their commitment to fulfill the mission entrusted to them, as well as the necessity of harmonizing figures, moving forward with reforms, and formulating a strategy to restructure the banking sector.
