Public drivers staged a vigil in front of the Ministry of Interior in Al-Sanayeh area to protest against the rise in fuel prices and the deteriorating living conditions. They blocked the road at the Concorde-Sanayeh junction.

The price of gasoline 95 octane and 98 octane increased by 17,000 pounds, the price of diesel rose 65,000 pounds and the price of gas 33,000 pounds.

The prices became as follows:

– 95 octane gas can: 559,000 pounds
– Gasoline canister 98 octane: 569,000 pounds
– Diesel: 680,000 pounds
Gas: 408000 pounds.
