Joanna Wronecka, the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, was welcomed to Bkerki on Thursday by Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, the patriarch of the Maronites.

The current state of affairs in the area and locally was apparently discussed.

Patriarch Rahi also welcomed Abbot Hadi Mahfouz, the General President of the Lebanese Maronite Order, and Maria Virginia Kattar, the newly appointed Argentine Ambassador to Lebanon, at Bkerki, respectively.
