Maronite Patriarch Beshara Boutros Al-Rahi, presided over Sunday Mass service in Bkerke, saying that “ the Lebanese are looking forward to the necessity of holding the parliamentary elections next May as a constitutional right to exercise their right to accountability.”
He added: “The Lebanese yearn to see a new political generation that enjoys leadership qualifications and good governance, especially after they were certain that there was no reform, change, or rescue through a political group that tampered with the country and people for more than thirty years.”
Finally, Rahi stressed that the people are looking forward to a new patriotic generation that advances to national responsibility and presents a clear program on the political, economic and financial levels.
