Kataeb Party leader Sami Gemayel, concluded his US tour by meeting with members of the US Congress in Washington.

In an interview with MTV Station, Gemayel indicated that the Kataeb Party and the United States share common concerns, especially since the issuance of a decision demanded by his party, such as the independence of the judiciary and its protection from political interference, the rejection of any weapon outside the control of the state, the fight against corruption and transparency, and finally the holding of legislative elections on time with Respect the constitutional deadlines.
