The Saudi Embassy in Lebanon announced, quoting the Saudi Press Agency, that “the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, made a phone call today to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, during which he expressed his appreciation for the measures taken by the State of Kuwait towards the statement made by the Lebanese Minister of Information, which reflects the solidarity of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.”

In turn, Sheikh Al-Sabah considered that “the measures taken by his country confirm the unity of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the depth of the brotherhood ties among all its peoples.”
