Vice Head of the Islamic Supreme Shia Council, Sheikh Ali Khatib, on Thursday received at the Council’s headquarters, the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Wronecka, who came on an acquaintance visit.

Talks reportedly touched on the current prevailing situation in Lebanon and the broader region.

Sheikh Al-Khatib wished Wronecka success in her mission and the strengthening of cooperation relations between Lebanon and the United Nations.
