The Internal Security Forces confirmed the following via its Twitter account:

“A media site has published that the head of the Central Bureau of the Fight against drugs is involved with major drug traffickers. It is important to the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces to clarify that the judgment issued by the Military Court is totally contrary to this allegation, and that all these claims are fake.”
