The personnel of the Shehar El-Gharbi Governmental Hospital announced in a statement that they will cease to work as of today, citing the difficult circumstances they are facing and worsening economic circumstances, as well as a total absence of payment from concerned parties who have failed to grant them their minimum rights, as of August 21, 2017.

They affirmed that the strike will continue in solidarity with the General Labor Union tomorrow until the demands were realized.
