The Representative of Fuel Distributors, Fadi Abu Chakra explained to “Voice of Lebanon” that a considerable number of stations have refused to receive gasoline, and most importing businesses no longer control the material, while ships await a decision from the Banque du Liban on whether or not to offload their cargo.
He added that the stations that opened their doors are experiencing a number of issues, and the station owner is powerless to resist the current demand without security protection.
