Caretaker Minister of Displaced Ghada Shreim, said on her Twitter account: “Adopting the ration card is the basic condition for moving forward with the subsidy ration plan.”

She added: “The government is studying the possibility of benefiting from unused or partially used international loans and grants to finance the card, in order to avoid using the country’s reserve.”

Shreim hoped that funds that will be collected will cover the major funds required for the card.
