After the Ministry of Finance agreed to bear part of the difference in dollars between the exchange platform’s price of 60 and 90,000 pounds of the revenues it earns in dollars, Al-Nahar learned that Minister of Finance Youssef Al-Khalil had informed the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, to transfer the salaries of employees, retirees, and military personnel in the public sector and professors. In formal education and professors at the Lebanese University, the price of “exchange” is 60,000 pounds per dollar for this month’s salaries.

The salaries will be paid starting from today and ending on Monday.
