The head of the General Federation of Drivers and Transport Workers Syndicates in Lebanon, Marwan Fayyad, stressed that the transport sector has become costly.

Fayyad pointed out in a radio interview that “the negotiations resulted in an invitation to all legitimate drivers to register their names in the unions, in order to start giving them 25 cans of petrol on the basis of 100,000, and thus the fare returns to 10,000 pounds.”
