The Ministry of Telecommunications in Lebanon issued the following statement on Tuesday:

“In the absence of a Cabinet session, the Ministry of Telecommunications is required to notify its subscribers that, as of January 1, 2022, decisions previously made by the Cabinet regarding doubling the Internet speed for subscriptions with a specified speed without a consumption ceiling, and doubling the volume of consumption for subscriptions with a limited consumption volume, will be suspended.”
