The Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Bassam al-Mawlawi, announced that the time is for work and fatigue, and “our task is difficult at a difficult stage, and we will seek to secure the rights of citizens and provide comfort to members of the military corps.”

Al-Mawlawi said in an interview with Al-Jadeed channel: “Through my previous judicial career, I did my work without being counted on a specific party, and my work in the ministry will be on the same path, and we are accountable to Lebanon and the Lebanese people.”

Al-Mawlawi pointed out, “We will deal according to the law and principles with everyone, and we will ensure the application of the law and the protection of private and public property without any cruelty or weakness.”

Mawlawi stressed, “We will be ready to carry out all the benefits that the country is waiting for, especially the election.”
