The Traffic Management Center (TMC) reported that several mountainous roads have been blocked across Lebanon due to the accumulation of snow in the following regions:

Ainata Al Arz, Oyoun Al-Siman- Hadath Baalbek, Mneitra -Hadath Baalbek, Akoura – Hadath Baalbek, Jird Marbin – Hermel, Hermel – Sir Al Dinnieh.

The Department of Meteorology at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expected that the weather in Lebanon today will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with high clouds without a significant change in temperatures, and snow will be on mountain roads at a height of 1600 meters and above, in the early morning, the clouds will intensify at night with scattered rain falls, especially in the mountainous and northern regions. The following bulletin stated:

– General situation: stable and relatively cold winter weather that dominates Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean. It fluctuates locally on Tuesday night until noon Wednesday, then we are gradually affected from Thursday evening by an air depression centered over Greece that leads to rainy weather.
