The Traffic Management Center (TMC) reported that several mountainous roads have been blocked across Lebanon due to the accumulation of snow in the following regions:

Ainata – Al-Arz, Kfardebian – Hadath Baalbek, Mneitra – Hadath Baalbek, Aqoura – Hadath Baalbek, Marbin – Hermel, Meshmish – Hermel.

Lebanon is affected by an atmospheric low-pressure area accompanied by wet and cold air masses, sometimes rainy and snowy on the mountains, and it will continue until Friday evening, then the weather will stabilize on Saturday.

The weather Thursday will be cold and unstable with light rain at times and light snow at 1300 m ~ 1400 m, while the temperature drops and ranges on the coast between 9 and 14 degrees at the 1000 meters between 2 and 7 degrees and in Bekaa between zero and 9 degrees, while the winds are southwesterly weak, with speed between 20 and 30 km /s.

On Friday, the weather will be cold and unstable weather with light rain at times and light snow at 1300 m ~ 1400 m, while the temperature is stable, and ranges on the coast between 9 and 14 degrees, and at 1000 meters between 2 and 7 degrees and in Bekaa between zero and 9 degrees. The winds are southwesterly weak, with speed between 20 and 30 km /h. The atmosphere turns into a little cloudy with the formation of ice in the bottom and at 1,200 meters in the morning
