The US Embassy in Beirut issued a statement on Tuesday stating the following: “Embassy employees and their families have returned to work and attendance normally, while maintaining advisory guidelines at level four.”

The statement added, “We recommend our citizens to avoid travelling to Lebanon, and the embassy has resumed services for American citizens in terms of issuing fully valid passports and providing all routine services.”
