The Minister of National Defense, Maurice Selim, issued a decision freezing the effect of weapons licenses on all Lebanese territories, starting from 12/23/2021, until 2/1/2022 inclusive.

The decision included an exception for licenses: the status of a military room, and carrying weapons (a diplomatic, official and private character), pointing out that every violation of the provisions of this decision exposes the perpetrator to the most severe penalties, especially legal prosecution.
