“We must rely on proper answers for our country and people,” confirms Hamieh

The Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, met with the head of the French embassy’s economic department at in his ministry office, emphasizing his desire to “find solutions to secure revenues for the public treasury in order to enhance Lebanon’s role among the countries of the world,” stressing that “the IMF”  may be part of the solution, but not the entire solution.”

“As a state, we must rely on finding acceptable solutions for our nation and our people, within the framework of activating and investing what we have, by delivering income to public utilities,” Hamieh explained.
