The head of the Change Movement, Lawyer Elie Mahfoud, tweeted the following: “There is a thin line between Chaker Al-Absi, who was evacuated from Nahr al-Bared, and the sniper in Tayouneh, and the truth is most certainly scandalous, and deviates from the intended path.”

He added, “We were looking into one case when another one emerged, so now we need two truths instead of simply one.”
