Maronite Patriarch Mar Beshara Boutros Rahi, presided over Sunday Mass service in Bkerki.

In his sermon, Patriach Rahi reiterated the need to reveal the truth about the explosion in Beirut Port, saying: “We are waiting for the truth about the port explosion, and we demand to stop questioning the work of the judiciary, as if the goal is to harm it and turn society into a forest of crime.”

Commenting of the disruption of holding the cabinet sessions, Rahi asked: “Isn’t it shameful that the cabinet meeting has become an Arab and international demand when it is a constitutional duty?”

He concluded by saying: “I wish our officials and influential people would return to their humanity to save Lebanon, and their efforts would meet with international efforts to save Lebanon.”
