William Noun, brother of martyr Joe Noun, defended Judge Tarek Bitar, who is accused of discretion by all parties in the authority, and said through LBCI: “The judge is the one who calls on people to hear their testimony, and we are not the ones who have the right to govern who he asks and who does not ask, but he must listen to everyone and we must allow him to do so, not accuse him of discretion.”

On the refusal of Former Minister of Public Works Youssef Fenianos to appear in the judiciary, he said: “We do not accept discretion or the punishment of one of the oppressed if Fenianos was really wronged, especially since we lived through injustice in the biggest crime that occurred in Lebanon, but where were you when you were ministers and why today you speak of the law and then you did not apply the law.

Noun added: “Manipulating the investigation has become like a game, and we will not forgive them the concerned people, and we will play the officials’ game as well.”
