What did the Lebanese ambassador to Kuwait say before leaving?

The Lebanese Ambassador to Kuwait Hadi Hashem said that “few hours before my departure from the brotherly State of Kuwait, I must thank everyone who facilitated my task and helped me achieve what I was able to accomplish within a year.

Hashem praised the embassy’s staff of diplomats and administrators, the Lebanese Business Council in Kuwait, the Lebanese-Kuwaiti Friendship Committee, and all Kuwaiti and Lebanese friends.”

Hashem also singled out his thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, for everything he has done and is doing for the sake of Lebanon. He said: “We are counting on him and his wisdom, farsightedness and diplomacy to find appropriate solutions to this transient crisis between Lebanon and its brothers in the Arab Gulf states.”

He added: “Kuwait is charming, loves the depth of its children’s culture and knowledge, and bows in honor of the great freedom and democracy established by the rule of Al-Sabah, headed by His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the princes of this noble family, who love Lebanon and the Lebanese.”

“Thank you, Kuwait, and I hope to see you soon,” he concluded.
