The Head of Bekaa Farmers Association Ibrahim Tarchichi said that “it is too early to talk about increasing the cost of agricultural production, especially since we are still waiting to purchase diesel fuel.”

Tarchichi hoped that officials will be honest this time and secure providing this commodity fairly to everyone, including the agricultural sector.

He added in a radio interview, “If we receive a fuel tank at the price of 100,000 LBP the cost will not soar very much, but we have fears that selling diesel in the black market will remain active.”
