“West Bank entering battle … Front likely to explode.”

With the Israeli war entering its second month, amidst intense shelling and deliberate, extensive destruction of infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, targeting civilians including children and women without restraint, Israel continues its crimes even against West Bank residents, subjecting them to abuse, provocation, killings, and arrests without any justifications, solely because they are Palestinians demanding their land and the right to live with dignity.

All eyes are turning towards the West Bank, expecting it to become a heated front due to the Israeli army’s transgressions against its people. One resident in the West Bank told ‘Sawt Beirut International’ that ‘the occupation’s practices are intolerable and unacceptable. No human on earth can accept what is happening in Gaza and the West Bank, which already suffers from occupation, enduring daily struggles as the occupier controls its destiny, economy, and intrudes into its neighborhoods.'”
“He indicates that the people of the West Bank are in a boiling state, on the verge of exploding at any moment. He confirms that if there were weapons similar to those held by Hamas in Gaza, the battle would have also erupted in the West Bank. However, the close surveillance exercised by the occupation prevents the entry of weapons into the West Bank. The people of the West Bank are nearly isolated, enduring the aggression of settlers and their extremism towards West Bank residents.

He asserts that dozens are being killed daily in the West Bank, away from the lenses of cameras and media focusing on the Gaza Strip. In addition, there are dozens of detainees being taken to Israeli prisons in the cruelest ways, and the arrest campaign spares no child, woman, or elderly person—anything Palestinian has become a target for the occupation, violating the sanctity of homes, shops, and neighborhoods.

He shares with our site that the arrests continue unabated, reaching into the thousands, without any action from the concerned parties or international entities. If these practices persist, the West Bank is heading towards a war armed with what citizens can obtain because dignity surpasses all considerations. From now on, we will not accept our children and women becoming easy targets for the occupation. The West Bank will join Gaza in the battle for dignity and defending our usurped land amidst the world’s silence.”
