Will Hezbollah- Mikati plan succeed in removing Aoun from palace?

On the eve of the presidential elections, President Michel Aoun is trying to impose his rhythm on the presidential election battle in the hope that he will improve the fortunes of his son-in-law, Representative Gibran Bassil, in a task that seems almost impossible or even impossible. However, Aoun’s actions are unpredictable, especially after he felt the presidential seat was far away from his heir, Gibran Bassil. .

Hezbollah along with caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and in order to avoid any surprise that Aoun and his movement might present, are developing a tight plan to defuse any conspiracy that Aoun may resort to.

Special information to “Sawt Beirut International” website indicates that Hezbollah is trying to persuade Mikati to form a government with the minimum demands that Bassil wants, to prevent the latter from taking the resigned government as a pretext and not handing over the presidency to the caretaker government, which was reported in the corridors of the Republican Palace.

Information adds that “Mikati is not about to accept all of Bassil’s government requests, and he did not give him what he wanted during the current government, but the Party is not about to enter into a confrontation, while the settlement has begun to mature between the regional countries, and it wants Aoun’s exit in a smooth manner and the handing over of powers to a government that is not resigned.” .

Hezbollah does not care about Bassil or on the head of the Marada movement, Suleiman Franjieh, but rather cares about a regional settlement that would allow him to gain some powers for the Shiite sect, and enable him to obtain positions that he might create in return for accepting the settlement that will bring a president who is far from the current alignments, and does not belong to any axis, according to for private information.

The information revealed that the party fears and does not guarantee Bassil’s actions, and thus does not want any adventure that might undermine what the party aspires to, and it is intensifying its efforts towards Mikati to form a complete government with complete powers, to pass the presidential vacancy and deprive Aoun and Bassil of any pretexts.

As for the details of the settlement, it has not yet matured, as it will bring a president from outside the current candidates’ club, and to find out what Hezbollah is planning, wait for the upcoming information in the next article… To be continued
