From Anjar to Haret Hreik… Place and reference only have changed

The news says: “The central leadership of the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party in Lebanon issued the following statement:

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, received the Secretary-General of the Arab Baath Socialist Party, comrade Ali Youssef Hegazy.

During the meeting, which lasted for more than three hours, the latest developments on the Lebanese arena were presented, including the file of the upcoming parliamentary elections”.

The news is over.

For those who remember the period of Syrian guardianship, when Anjar was the center of “the head of the Security and Reconnaissance Service in the Syrian Arab Forces,” the news was as follows:

“Major-General Ghazi Kanaan received the former candidate (…) and during the meeting, which lasted for more than three hours, the latest developments on the Lebanese arena were presented, including the file of the upcoming parliamentary elections.”

Nothing has changed: the reference was in Anjar, so it became in Haret Hreik, or in the place where the Secretary-General of Hezbollah resides. Major General Kanaan used to say to the candidate: “Let it be,” and there would be a representative. Today, Nasrallah says to the candidate: “Let it be,” and he is. Only the reference and the place of reference have changed.

The decision was issued to exclude Ali Youssef Hegazy from Hezbollah’s list in Baalbek-Hermel. His “visit” to Sayyed Nasrallah was a moral compensation because the party, and Syria, preferred “Major Jamil” over “Comrade Ali.”

Talk to us about democracy as much as you want.

The circumstances of Hijazi’s exclusion, with the accompanying circumstances and rams, began in Baalbek-Hermel, and reached Damascus.

Although the rams were Syrian par excellence, among those close to the Syrian president, to the point of adhesion, the Syrian decision “approved” Major General Al-Sayed and excluded Ali Hijazi, and the background of the Syrian decision does not require decoding, as cooperation between the Syrian regime and Major General al-Sayyid is not “from yesterday,” as is the case with Ali Hijazi.

Major General Al-Sayed has been coordinating with the Syrian regime for forty years, ever since he was in charge of the Lebanese army’s intelligence in the Bekaa, and he continued with President Hrawi for a while before becoming the deputy chief of intelligence, then with President Lahoud as Director General of Public Security, and he was the link between the Covenant and the Syrian regime.

All these “services” Ali Hijazi cannot cancel, even if he becomes the Secretary-General of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Lebanon. Major General El-Sayed is superior to him in seniority and in “services”.
