Tayyar preceded Lebanese Forces to Khaled al-Daher… with six years.

Under the title “The Lebanese Forces Allied with Extremists,” the “Tayyar” blew up a relentless campaign against the Forces, as soon as the news of the electoral alliance between Khaled al-Daher and the later was announced.

Is it a right campaign?

Observers, using documents and historical stations, respond that what is strange, is not the campaign, but that, those behind it “did it” six years ago, specifically on the twenty-fourth of March of 2016, i.e. the year of the Aounist “preparation” for the election of General Aoun as President of the Republic.

On that date, “MP Khaled Al-Daher met at his home in Tripoli, a delegation from the Free Patriotic Movement headed by the general coordinator of the movement, Pierre Raffoul, who said: “General Michel Aoun assigned me to this visit, with a message entitled that this rapprochement, this understanding, and this dialogue that we are conducting is not circumstantial or spontaneous, this visit is a confirmation to this meeting and consultation.”

In response to a question about Daher’s nomination of General Aoun for the presidency, he replied: “There is certainly a favor to be returned, he took a proactive initiative, and this matter is dear to us.”

For his part, Daher said: “The communication with the Free Patriotic Movement has not been interrupted since the days of the Syrian guardianship. We are comrades in struggle and partners in bearing many burdens during that period.”

End of news.
No doubt that Officials in the Free Patriotic Movement read this sentence by MP Al-Daher: “We are comrades in the struggle and partners.”

When Khaled Al-Daher acknowledges “companionship, struggle, and partnership” with the Free Patriotic Movement, what “extremism” are the Aounists and the Tayyar are talking about, when describing Daher? It is as if their alliance with him is a “considered case’, while and others allying with him is an “unforgivable crime.”

The Free Patriotic Movement preceded the Lebanese Forces to Khaled Al-Daher by six years. Was he then, in their view, the “title of moderation” and today the “title of extremism”?

Moreover, the photo of the meeting between Al-Daher and Raffoul shows the “relief” shown on Raffoul’s face.

History no longer uses an eraser, perhaps this is what the Aounists did not realize.
